Inspired by the 1853 National Women's Rights Convention, Ancestra weaves a historical account of women's rights pioneers with the intimate biography of a contemporary journalist investigating abortion crisis centers. The past and present converge as we examine how far the women's rights movement has come and how far we have yet to go.
